The UW Dermatology Residency Program has made the decision to continue virtual interviews for the upcoming 2021-2022 residency application cycle, and potentially beyond.
Dermatology resident, Dr. Anna Tappel, and team have found that several children's books include sun-protection practices but few include depictions of people of color.

5 incoming residents will join the Dermatology Residency Program this July, Drs. Mariam Alam, Brian Connor, Amoreth Gozo, Sidney Hoskins and Laura Valaas.
First-year residents Drs. Rachael Ward and Jason Ya were recently selected for the inaugural Research and Career Building Elective.
Within the last year, three new faculty members have joined the Division of Dermatology to serve our patients and trainees and help propel our research mission, Drs. Andrea Rea, Song Park and Josiah Hanson.
