The UW Medicine Division of Dermatology has an outstanding opportunity for a temporary, full-time Clinical Research Coordinator position to support the division's current clinical research projects. Candidates will serve a 12-month annual appointment, with a service period of July 1 - June 30, 2023.

Job Description: 

The primary role of the Medical Dermatology Clinical Research Coordinator is to conduct clinical research, including presenting and writing about research findings. Research will focus on projects around complex medical dermatology, including cutaneous oncology (particularly cutaneous lymphoma), dermatology-rheumatology, inpatient consultative dermatology, and hidradenitis suppuritiva.

The research coordinator will receive clinical research training, regularly interact with faculty researchers and dermatologists, and have regular mentorship meetings focused on the development of research and clinical skills, and career development.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Biology or a related field and one year's previous work as a Research Coordinator, preferably in the medical/health fields.
  • Applicants selected for this position who have not already completed the training for clinical research involving human subjects will be required to complete it within 90 days of hire.
  • Desired: Current MD or DO student.
