Dr. Caitlin Crimpp

"I was born and raised in the beautiful lake city of Coeur d'Alene, ID. I grew up playing sports of all kinds, but basketball, volleyball, and golf competitively. I studied Biochemistry & Biophysics and Spanish at Oregon State University and worked after as a Gross Technician and Pathology Lab Assistant before starting medical school at the University of Washington. I love exploring the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest with my partner, Dennis, and our dog, Raven. I also enjoy cooking, reading, and traveling. A little known fact about me is that I was a member of a performance juggling group back in the day."
Dr. Anna Tappel
Medical School: University of Virginia School of Medicine
Internship: Virginia Mason Medical Center
"I am the middle of 5 kids and was home schooled through high school as we were military and moved around frequently. My father is a pediatrician but he only ended up with one child who followed him into medicine. My childhood fostered a love of traveling and exploring new cultures and I had plenty of time for reading and music. I considered pursuing a career in music after high school and took a couple years off to perform and work, prior to settling on medicine and starting college. After medical school at UVA, I've been excited to be back on the West Coast and have had a wonderful year eating my way through Seattle. A little known fact about me is that I started drinking coffee when I was 3 years old, when my dad would let me a couple of sips every morning after I 'helped' him make coffee for my mom."
Dr. Rachael Ward

"I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan although my immediate family has now relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. I have a small yorkie named Bella who has been with me through most of my educational journey. I am getting married in June 2021! I love all things food! I love cooking food and I am serious foodie/restauranteur. One interested fact about me is that my dad and I have the same exact birthday and my sister and I are Irish twins."
Dr. Jason Ya
Medical School: Case Western Reserve University
Internship: Alameda Health Systems, Highland Hospital, CA
"I grew up in Reston, VA, and stayed in Virginia for college and studied Computer Science/Biology at the University of Virginia. After that, I went to Cleveland for medical school at the Cleveland Clinic before moving to Oakland for intern year and Seattle to train at the University of Washington. My interests include skin cancer and technology in medicine. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and exploring new hobbies including flying, biking, running, or anything that sounds interesting! A little known fact about me is that I biked across the US during college."
