Biography

Dr. Deva Wells (she/her/hers) is an attending dermatologist at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and an Acting Instructor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Washington. A proud Seattle native, Deva received her MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2015. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington, after which she served as an inpatient Chief Medical Resident at the VA. She then completed a residency in dermatology through the UW Department of Dermatology where she served as a Co-Chief Resident.

Dr. Wells enjoys teaching medical students and residents from multidisciplinary backgrounds. She has scholarly interests in soft tissue infections, applications of Teledermatology, and the intersection of social media and medical ethics.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys going on adventures throughout the city with her family, playing tennis, and learning new artistic endeavors such as watercolor painting.
