What are your post-fellowship plans?

After finishing this fellowship, I will join University of Arkansas as a Dermatopathologist. I am excited to finish my training and start practicing in a specialty that I am very passionate about. I am looking forward to learning from my colleagues and gaining more experience.

What drew you to the field of dermatopathology?

I have been interested in Dermatopathology since I was a PGY1 resident. I like all aspects of dermatopathology starting with the clinical presentation, to histologic examination and molecular testing. I am also very interested in teaching residents and medical students which the dermatopathology fellowship provided.

What professional and/or service activities have you enjoyed in residency?

I especially enjoyed teaching and working with the residents on the rotation, I also learned a lot from them.

What is one piece of advice you would give to incoming dermatology trainees?

Work hard while enjoying yourself, and use your time wisely as the year will pass by very fast.
