Paul Nghiem, MD, PhD, Professor and Head of the UW Division of Dermatology, delivered the fifteenth annual Rodan + Fields Lectureship in Dermatology at the Department of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine on Nov. 10, 2022, titled, “Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC): An often-lethal, virus-driven cancer provides insights into adaptive and innate anti-tumor immunity.”
Dr. Nghiem is a proud alumnus of Stanford University. He obtained his MD and PhD degrees at the university where he studied Cancer Biology and Immunology.
Each year the Rodan + Fields Lectureship invites distinguished colleagues and leaders from around the world to share their expertise and knowledge with the department. The lecture was established in 2008 with the generous support of Stanford Dermatology Residency Alumni and current clinical faculty Katie Rodan, MD, and Kathy Fields, MD in appreciation for the department that catapulted their careers.
