Please join us in congratulating Tanya Greywal, MD, on her recent appointment to Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice in the UW Department of Dermatology! Dr. Greywal officially transitioned to her new role on Oct. 1, 2024. This well-deserved recognition reflects her outstanding contributions to our department, and her dedication to patient care, education, and clinical excellence.

GreywalFun fact—Dr. Greywal is the very first appointee to the UW School of Medicine’s new Clinical Practice track, which recognizes the value of faculty who focus on clinical teaching and service.

Dr. Greywal first joined the Department of Dermatology in Feb. 2022 as an Acting Instructor. She has clinical expertise in acne, cosmetic dermatology, scarring, and skin surgery. She currently sees patients at three clinical sites; UW Medical Center-Roosevelt Dermatology Center, Eastside Specialty Center, and Seattle Children’s Hospital. She is the Director of Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology for the Eastside Specialty Center, and has established a Severe Acne and Scar Specialty Clinic.

Dr. Greywal’s efforts in starting a cosmetics program will benefit our patients and UW Dermatology’s resident education program. She frequently teaches residents in both clinical and didactic sessions, sharing her expertise in acne scarring and cosmetic dermatology.

We look forward to her continued success and leadership within our department!
