What is next for you after graduation?
I'll be taking a faculty position at Seattle Children's in Pediatric Dermatology.
What are your career goals?
I would like to establish a practice where I have ongoing relationships with patients and their families and to pursue clinical interests that evolve over time.
What did you enjoy most about your fellowship experience?
Working with the dermatology residents in a new role and in a pediatric environment that got me back to my initial love of pediatrics.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
Making a modified Q-tip for liquid nitrogen cryotherapy that HBB (Dr. Heather Brandling-Bennett) thinks passes muster (though, I think I'm still on my way to accomplishing that goal).
Who were your mentors and how did they support you?
All the faculty at SCH supported me in differing ways, based on our mutual interests and in helping me to explore some new interests of my own, like contact dermatitis!
Fun aspect of training or a favorite memory?
The enthusiastic reception I received on signing my paperwork to join SCH! Everyone in the division is very welcoming and I am excited to continue to work there.
