UW Dermatology is proud to announce the Dermatology Surgery Center at UW Medical Center-Roosevelt has been recognized for providing exceptional care and service to our patients as the “top performer in patient experience” for the first quarter of fiscal year 2023 (July-September 2022)!

Faculty and staff from the Dermatologic Surgery Center are recognized for earning top scores (at or above the 75th percentile nationally) for the "staff worked together care for you" question on UW Medicine’s post-visit medical practice survey. The Derm Surgery Team will be honored by UW Medicine leadership at a thank you ceremony in early February.

Congratulations to the Derm Surgery Team on earning this incredible accomplishment!

About the Dermatology Surgery Center

Jeremy KamppThe Dermatologic Surgery Center at UW Medical Center-Roosevelt in Seattle's University District focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, treatment of cutaneous lesions responsive to laser therapy and general dermatological surgery procedures. Dr. Jeremy Kampp, our full-time dermatologic surgeon, offers evaluation and treatment, including surgery for benign and malignant skin growths in the Dermatology Surgery Center.

Our surgeons and staff are at the forefront of clinical and scientific research of skin treatment and skin surgery techniques. The specialized surgical techniques performed include Mohs micrographic surgery, one of the most effective state-of-the-art procedures for treating skin cancer, as well as excision, electrodesication and curettage. Once a skin cancer is diagnosed, treatment depends on multiple considerations, including the type of cancer and its location. We will work with you on your individualized treatment options, risks and benefits.
