Earlier this month Dr. S. Max Vale, Acting Instructor, and Dr. Michi Shinohara, Associate Chief for the UW Division of Dermatology, contributed to an article in Seattle PI focused on the prevention and detection of skin cancer as the summer months approach.

The article titled, “Simple Steps to Prevent and Detect Skin Cancer,” published on May 6, 2022, gives readers insight on the ways they can enjoy the sun safely while avoiding the potentially devastating effects of skin cancer.
