This award will support Karina's travel to the IPCC Symposium on May 7 to interact with researchers focused on rare skin diseases targeting keratins. She will also present her own work on a new model of epidermolysis bullosa as a mini-symposium talk at the SID 2025 Annual Meeting in San Diego directly after.
