Celebrating Thank A Resident & Fellow Day 2024

In honor of National Thank a Resident Day on Friday, Feb. 23, we want to say a huge "thank you" to our outstanding Dermatology residents and fellows! 

While every day should be Thank a Resident Day, this is a wonderful occasion to showcase our gratitude to our dedicated residents and fellows. 

Our residents are an integral part of the UW Dermatology clinical team and provide excellent care for the patients in our community. Additionally, our residents and fellows are learners and teachers within the Department, whether it be working with medical students rotating in dermatology, giving Grand Rounds to students, fellow residents and faculty alike, or conducting and contributing to research initiatives. Our residents are constantly in pursuit of innovation and lifelong learning. 

Thank you to all of our residents and fellows for your enthusiasm and commitment to our mission and values!

Special shout-out to Dr. Lindsay Gunnell and Dr. Miriam Alam who have continuity clinics at Fred Hutch every Monday morning. They partner with the attendings to see new patients and it greatly improves access for our oncology population, which often has urgent, treatment-related dermatology needs.
