Tanya GreywalTanya Greywal, MD, FAAD, board-certified dermatologist at the UW Medical Center-Roosevelt Dermatology Center, Seattle Children’s Hospital and Director of Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology at UW Medicine Eastside Specialty Center, recently contributed to an article in UW Medicine's Right as Rain on the risk of developing skin cancer in the Pacific Northwest. 

The article titled, “Skin Cancer Risks Are High in the PNW. Here’s Why.,” explains how skin cancer develops, how to protect your skin and debunks the myth that living in the PNW makes you less likely to develop skin cancer.
