The group aims to increase community and medical professional awareness of diseases that are rising in prevalence, and to discuss what we can do to manage our risk. Group members work with communities and medical professionals to learn how to get involved in advocacy, such as how to petition elected officials for movement on meaningful legislation in this realm.
