BIOGRAPHY

Kimberly "Kim" Katz, MD, (she/her/hers) is an Acting Instructor in the UW Department of Dermatology and a board-certified dermatologist at the UW Medical Center–Roosevelt Dermatology Center and the UW Medicine Eastside Specialty Center.

Dr. Katz earned her BA, Cum Laude, in Latin American Studies at Barnard College, Columbia University, in 2008. She went on to complete her postbaccalaureate in pre-medicine at that same institution in 2010. She earned her MD at New York Medical College, in 2018. Dr. Katz then completed her Internal Medicine Internship in 2019 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. After completing her internship, she worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisc. from 2019-2021. She went on to complete her Dermatology Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and graduated from the program in 2024.

Dr. Katz specializes in all aspects of medical dermatology including diagnosis, work up, and treatment of skin cancer and inflammatory skin conditions.
