Biography
Lindsay Gunnell, MD, (she/her) is an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology and dermatologist based at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center, Primary & Specialty Care Center at South Lake Union, and Roosevelt Dermatology Clinic.
She specializes in oncologic dermatology and the management of pigmented lesions.
Dr. Gunnell earned her BS in Neuroscience, graduating magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in 2006, and received her MD from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2012. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at UW Medicine/Valley Medical Center in 2015. From 2021 to 2022, she served as a Clinical Research Fellow in the Nghiem Lab, contributing to translational research in Merkel cell carcinoma and coordinating multidisciplinary tumor boards. Dr. Gunnell went on to complete her Dermatology Residency at the University of Washington (2022–2025), where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
