Biography

Soo Jung Kim, MD, PhD, MBA, (she/her) is an Associate Professor of Clinical Practice in the Department of Dermatology and dermatologist based at the Eastside Specialty Center and Roosevelt Dermatology Clinic. She also serves as the Medical Director for the Eastside Specialty Center Dermatology Clinic.  

Dr. Kim earned her BS from Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea, in 1998. In 2005, she completed both her PhD in Immunology from Northwestern University and her MS from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. She then completed her Medical Doctorate in 2009 from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Kim completed her medical internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York in 2010, and then her dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2013. She also recently earned her Master of Business at Rice University in Houston in 2025.
