Biography

 

Dr. Brumfiel earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 2012. She subsequently completed post-baccalaureate pre-medicine coursework at the University of Cincinnati and earned a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 2017. She received her Medical Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2022. During medical school, Dr. Brumfiel completed a dermatology research fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona from 2020-2021.

Following medical school, she completed a transitional year internship in Internal Medicine at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California from 2022-2023. She then completed her Dermatology residency at the University of Washington from 2023-2026, serving as Chief Resident during her final year.
