What is next for you after graduation?

After graduation, I will be starting my job as a dermatology attending at the VA Hospital in Seattle, WA.

What are your future career goals?

My initial focus will be to build a comprehensive practice in general dermatology while developing an expertise in laser medicine for both medical and cosmetic concerns. I also plan to have nail disorders and nail procedures as a core part of my practice.

What do you value most about your training experience at UW Dermatology?

What I value most about my time at UW Dermatology is how the program combines complex medical dermatology training with a deeply supportive environment. Having the opportunity to learn directly from leaders in the field was invaluable, and I am confident that I am leaving the program with an outstanding clinical foundation from which to grow.

What advice would you share with incoming dermatology residents?

One piece of advice I would share would be to remember that residency is temporary. The grueling moments, like being on-call, will not last forever. Enjoy this protected time to learn while you have the safety net of attendings.
