overview
The Dermatology Interest Group (DIG) is a student-led organization at the UW Department of Dermatology dedicated to supporting medical students interested in exploring dermatology as a potential career path. DIG provides a welcoming and inclusive community where students can learn more about the specialty, engage in educational and hands-on experiences, and gain exposure to the diverse opportunities within dermatology.
DIG hosts events throughout the year, including volunteer opportunities, skills workshops, and mentorship programs—allowing students to build meaningful connections with faculty, residents, fellows, and peers who share a passion for dermatology.
DIG is a virtual student organization and open to medical students from all UW School of Medicine WWAMI sites.
View a complete list of medical student organizations on the UWSOM Intranet (NetID required).
