New Faculty Spotlight

Within the last year, three new faculty members have joined the Division of Dermatology to serve our patients and trainees and help propel our research mission, Drs. Andrea Rea, Song Park and Josiah Hanson.

Dr. Andrea ReaDr. Andrea Rea

Dr. Andrea Rea graduated from the Dermatology Residency Program at University of Washington in 2020 and began as a board certified dermatologist in the UW Dermatology Roosevelt Clinic. Dr. Rea specializes in general dermatology with particular interest in hair disorders, and teledermatology and she enjoys teaching and mentoring residents and medical students. Learn more about Dr. Rea.

Dr. Song ParkDr. Song Park

Dr. Song Park came to the Division of Dermatology originally as a clinical research fellow in the Nghiem Laboratory, coordinating patient care and participating in research on Merkel cell carcinoma. She became an acting instructor in the summer of 2020 and began treating patients as a board-certified dermatologist at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Dr. Park works with people who are experiencing various skin problems including skin cancers, treatment-related dermatitis, eczema, and general dermatology needs. Learn more about Dr. Park.

Dr. Josiah HansonDr. Josiah Hanson

Dr. Josiah Hanson served as co-chief resident in the Dermatology Residency Program here at UW from March 2020-March 2021. After finishing residency in June, Dr. Hanson will be beginning a fellowship in Dermatopathology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania and then will be returning to UW Derm as a faculty member following fellowship, seeing patients in the UW Derm clinics at Roosevelt and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Learn More about Dr. Hanson.
